Flooding From Water Main Break Leaves Threat Of Sinkhole In West Hollywood
WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A water main break has flooded an underground parking garage early Wednesday morning in West Hollywood.
The break happened at 825 Westbourne Drive between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard around 3:30 a.m.
Fire crews pumped out all the water but a threat remains for a possible sinkhole.
Los Angeles Fire Department officials said water will remain shut off to residents in the area throughout the day Wednesday.
Residents are being asked to walk to work or stay at home.
