Shooting Erupts On Party Bus With 60 Passengers On Board

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police said a shooting erupted on a party bus in West Los Angeles early Sunday morning.

About 60 passengers were reportedly on board the bus at the time. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.

Police told CBS2 that they received a "shots fired" call around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers say they recovered a gun.

Los Angeles police Sgt. John Juarez says an argument apparently broke out on the bus prior to the shooting.

"No one was hit," Juarez said. "There was a possible bullet hole in the bus, and all the witnesses have been uncooperative."

It was unclear how many shots were fired, police said.

No arrests have been made.
