NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — The San Diego County coroner’s office Friday identified a body found in a Lakeside dumpster as that of a missing Newport Beach mother.

The body was located in the rural area on Thursday after authorities received an anonymous tip, police said.

Quee “Q.C.” Chadwick, 46, has been missing since Oct. 10 when police believe she was murdered in her Newport Coast mansion by her husband, Peter.

Detectives believe a fight over financial issues and a possible divorce led Peter Chadwick, 48, to murder his wife, KNX 1070’s John Brooks reported.

Chadwick, a real estate investor, was arrested near the Mexican border last week after calling police for unspecified help.

He has pleaded not guilty to one felony count of special circumstances murder for financial gain.

Chadwick is being held without bail.
