Michelle Patterson Dishes On This Year's California Women's Conference

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Michelle Patterson stopped by the KCAL9 studios Tuesday afternoon to give viewers some insight on this year's California Women's Conference.

The California Women's Conference, an annual non-partisan event, was created in 1985 by then-Governor George Deukmejian to address the high failure rate among women-owned businesses by giving women entrepreneurs greater access to funding and other helpful resources. Then-First Lady Gloria Deukmejian assumed responsibility for the conference, which became known as the California Governor and First Lady's Conference. Today, the legacy continues under the stewardship of Michelle Patterson, CEO of Event Complete.

EventComplete, LLC proudly announces a partial list of celebrated speakers including: Gloria Allred, Marcia Cross, Mark Victor Hansen, Mary McDonough, Michael Learned, Judy Norton, Kami Cotler, Julie Newmar, Tippi Hedren, Donzaleigh Abernathy, Rose Marie, Shannon Tweed, and more.

The conference will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center on Sunday, Sept 23, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Monday, Sept 24, from 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Admission will be $79 for Sunday, Sept 23, or $199 for both Sunday & Monday. Tickets can be bought here.
