At Least 3,000 Residents Affected By Power Outages In San Fernando Valley, Brentwood

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY and BRENTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — More than 3,000 residents in Studio City, Northridge, Reseda and Brentwood were reportedly without power Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Times reported that approximately 1,000 Department of Water and Power customers were affected by the power outage.

Approximately 1,500 customers in Studio City and 800 in Reseda and Northridge were also experiencing interrupted service, according to the DWP.

Service was expected to be restored by 3 a.m. Wednesday to residents affected in Reseda and Northridge. Customers in Studio City were expected to have power again by 4 a.m., the DWP said.

No further details were released.
