Long Beach Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Missing Man, 82
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an elderly man who may require medical attention.
Police said in a department statement that Jose Salazar was last seen on Aug. 31, in the city of Signal Hill.
According to authorities, the 82-year-old left his Long Beach home in the 1000 block of East Market Street and was seen later that day.
The missing man, described in the statement as 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds.
He has black hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved dress shirt and blue jeans.
Authorities said Salazar may need medicine and has been showing the early signs of Alzheimer's disease.
