Michael Jackson Fans Celebrate His Birthday; King Of Pop Would Have Been 54

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Michael Jackson fans are celebrating what would have been the King of Pop's 54th birthday Wednesday.

Jackson died on June 25, 2009 of an overdose of propofol at his rented Holmby Hills home. The doctor caring for him at the time, Conrad Murray, is serving four years for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the pop icon's death.

Jackson's teenage daughter, Paris, tweeted an emotional message in remembrance of her father.

She later tweeted an Instagram photo of herself, with a photo of her father edited into the image, as if they were posing cheek to cheek.

Paris and her brothers Prince and Blanket are reportedly spending time with the Jackson clan in their hometown of Gary, Ind.
