BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Police alerted the public to a string of robberies happening at nail salons in the Burbank area.

Suspects enter the targeted salon, inquire about the services and then demand cash or property, according to the Burbank Police Department.

Police warned business owners to be cautious of who comes into their salon. They advised against covering salon windows — in order to be aware of who is outside the business — and to maintain a working
surveillance camera system.

The suspects were described as a black woman and two black men. The woman was approximately 5-foot-5-inches and weighing 160-200 pounds. One of the men described was approximately 5-feet-8-inches and 160 pounds and the other was about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.
