Passenger Trapped In Vehicle After It Careens Off Malibu Roadway

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — One person has been freed from a vehicle that went over the side of a road in Malibu, according to an emergency dispatcher.

The passenger became trapped near the intersection of Las Virgenes Canyon Road and Piuma Road shortly before 6 p.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

There were five other people being treated at the scene. Their conditions were not listed as serious, according to the California Highway Patrol.
