1,000-Pound Pipe Falls On Worker In Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY (CBS) — A worker was hospitalized Tuesday after 1,000 pounds of metal fell off a tractor trailer and hit him in the abdomen.

CAL Fire/Riverside County firefighters were called out to Allied Fitting Corporation, where a large pipe, weighing 1,000 pounds, fell on a male worker's abdomen. The man was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.

The accident was reported at about 9 a.m.
