Griffin Expected To Sign 5-Year, $95M Extension With Clippers

LOS ANGELES (CBS) Blake Griffin has told team Clippers officials that he plans to sign a 5-year extension during the off-season, according to an ESPN report.

The offer is expected to be around $95-million, including the All-Star and All-NBA bonuses.

Clippers President Andy Roeser is expected to offer Griffin the deal shortly after the start of free agency at 9PM, Saturday, although he can not sign it until after July 11.

The Clippers have already acquired forward Lamar Odom as part of a 4-team trade that also shipped out Mo Williams to the Utah Jazz.
