Shots Fired In Front Of South LA Home; 2 Struck

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A shooting in South Los Angeles late Friday night left one man dead and a second wounded.

The incident occurred the 6400 block of Brynhurst Avenue.

The victims, both believed to be in their 20s, were standing in front of a home when police say two men walked up and opened fire.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.

As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests have been made and no names released.

An investigation was under way. It wasn't immediately clear if the attack was gang-related.
