STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The body of an adult man was found across the street from a San Fernando Valley high school Friday morning.

A Harvard-Westlake Upper School security guard discovered the body in a construction area in the 3700 block of Coldwater Canyon in Studio City around 8:15 a.m., Los Angeles police said.

The man, in his 30s, was found tied to a tree, Los Angeles police detectives told CBS2’s Greg Mills. They says the death is suspicious, but could be a suicide.

The man’s identity was not released.
