2 Men Wounded In Shooting Along LA's Skid Row
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities were investigating the circumstances surrounding a double shooting on the streets of Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred about 2:10 a.m. in the 600 block of Maple Street, police said.
According to authorities, a fight among six transients broke out resulting in two men shot.
One suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while the other was shot in the chest.
Both were expected to live, Sgt. Alvelais, watch commander for the Central Police Station, told CBS2/KCAL9.
No arrests have been made.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall medium build Black male who was last seen wearing dark clothing.
