BURBANK (CBS) — A man died from injuries sustained when he was trapped by the remote doors of a gravel truck Monday, authorities reported.

Vigen Boodaghian, 58, was extricated from the doors by a man who was working with a similar vehicle near the railroad tracks between Magnolia and Burbank boulevards, Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn said.

Burbank Fire and Police personnel responded at approximately 9:50 a.m. and Boodaghian was pronounced dead at the scene, Ryburn said.

An investigation was being conducted into the man’s death. No further details were available.
