Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Friday will be a very May Gray day with the marine layer running at 5,000 feet.

Everyone has got a shot at drizzle or even some light rainfall as an upper-level low travels down the spine of California. However, there isn't any real moisture for this system to work with, so it won't act like any type of winter storm. It's very bizarre to get a storm like this so late in the season.

We will also see increased wind through the day, but up north in San Luis Obispo County, there is a chance for thunderstorms. Our temperatures will be well below average and as the system passes, it will get quite gusty.

Everything rebounds into the weekend. The clear out begins Saturday, but things will still be on the cool side.

Sunday, a minor ridge of high pressure bumps in to warm the basin back up to normal levels. Valleys will reach back into the 80s. Memorial Day looks great.

Beaches  - mid 60s
Basin - mid to upper 60s
Valleys - upper 60s
Deserts - upper 60s
Mountains - upper 50s
