Man On Skateboard Killed After Crashing Into Parked Car In Agoura Hills
AGOURA HILLS (CBS) — A 29-year-old man was killed early Tuesday when he lost control of his in-line "dirt surfer" skateboard and struck a parked car, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
The crash happened at 12:05 a.m. in the 6000 block of Lake Lindero Drive, a steep residential street in Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Robert Wiard said.
The skateboarder was identified as Christopher Schwartz.
Schwartz, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered head and neck injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, Wiard said.
