2 Bodies Found In South Los Angeles Apartment
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A man and woman have been found dead at an apartment complex in the 900 block of West 81st Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officials with the coroner's office, as well as investigators with the LAPD's gang task force, were at the scene collecting evidence Tuesday morning.
Police received a 911 call at 4 p.m. Monday from a resident who smelled a foul odor within the two-story building.
Arriving officers found the bodies, which both showed signs of trauma, according to CBS2's Joy Benedict.
The victims, whose names have not been released, had reportedly last been seen 10 days ago. Both the man and the woman were in their 30s.
Detectives believe the deaths may have been the result of a domestic incident.
