Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 15)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — There are some patches of low-lying clouds and fog, but you can expect mostly clear skies across our inland areas this morning.

Today will be a bit warmer than yesterday. A cut-off low to the north is exiting the region and high pressure is building. A northwest flow is setting up, which is giving us some gusty winds below our passes and canyons, especially up to the north along the Santa Ynez mountain range and the I-5 corridor.

There are no advisories as of yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if a wind advisory popped up.

The high pressure builds tomorrow and we will have the warmest day out of our extended period.

Temperatures will be into the 90s inland and near 80 degrees downtown.

The high pressure will then break down as we cool off for the end of the week and the weekend.

Beaches -upper 60s to low 70s
Basin -mid to upper 70s
Valleys - upper 80s
Deserts - mid 80s
Mountains - low 70s
