Woman, 46, Dead After Car Plunges Over Malibu Canyon
MALIBU (CBS) — A 4-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning after her car plunged over the side of Malibu Canyon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A red convertible was reported over the side of Malibu Canyon Road near Pepperdine University around 9:45 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire officials said.
When authorities arrived, they discovered the body of the woman ejected from the vehicle. Authorities have not released her identity, but say she is from Topanga.
Malibu Canyon Road is closed between PCH and Piuma Road for an investigation, the CHP said.
