LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Nestle and the Girl Scouts has decided to team up and foil everyone getting ready for summer swimsuit season with the creation of Nestle Crunch Girl Scout Candy Bars.

The new candy bars will come in three varieties and are already available for purchase through a special, limited supply pre-sale program for Nestle’s Facebook fans. After the pre-sale, these special edition candy bars will be available throughout the summer at participating retail stores, the company said.

The three varieties include Thin Mints – dark chocolate cookie wafers and mint chocolate crème, topped with airy crispies and a rich, dark chocolate coating; Caramel & Coconut – cookie wafers layered with coconut caramel crème and chewy caramel, topped with toasted coconut and drizzled with caramel stripes; and Peanut Butter Crème – cookie wafers layered with smooth peanut butter crème, topped with airy crispies and a cream, chocolate coating.

“When word of this irresistible combination of Nestle Crunch and Girl Scout Coookie flavors leaked earlier this year, consumers started calling,” Nestle spokeswoman Tricia Bowles said. “Fans should be ready to buy ‘the world’s most valuable candy bars’ before they’re all gone!”

2012 marks the Girl Scouts landmark 100th anniversary year. The organization’s partnership with Nestle is the first time the Girl Scouts has licensed a candy bar product inspired by their famous cookies.
