LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — The family of a missing 20th Century Fox film executive has set up a website in an attempt to track him down.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says 57-year-old Gavin Smith has been missing since last Tuesday night when he left a friend’s home in Ventura County’s Oak Park area.

The website includes the latest news about Smith and phone numbers for the detectives assigned to investigate his disappearance.

A former UCLA basketball star, Smith is described as 6-foot-6 and weighing 210 pounds. He has gray hair with blond highlights, and a goatee. He drives a black 2000 Mercedes 420 E with California license plate number 6EKT044.

Smith works in Fox’s movie distribution department at the studio’s Calabasas office, and is the branch manager for theaters in Dallas and Oklahoma City.
