Hair Stylist Tells Police About Filthy Conditions At 'Octomom' Home

LA HABRA (CBS) — Authorities on Wednesday declined to take any action after the hair stylist for tabloid mainstay Nadya Suleman complained about possible health violations at her home.

KNX 1070's Jon Baird reports on the latest public setback for the mother of 14, more commonly known as "Octomom".

TMZ's Harvey Levin said they have photos showing children sitting on what appear to training toilets in the backyard and at least one door spray painted with the words "Do not enter" with a chair locking it from the outside.

"Plumbing doesn't work in the house, the house is just a mess," said Levin after the unidentified hair stylist filed a report stating that conditions in the home were "horrendous" and that the kids may be in "dire risk".

An adult film producer recently withdrew his offer to help Suleman avoid foreclosure on her home, which is located on a small cul de sac with the porch blocked by a security door and outfitted with at least one security camera perched up high on the roof.

Both La Habra police and Orange County Department of Children and Family Services officials investigated the home and decided not to take any action.

Suleman recently said she is now accepting food stamps to help feed the kids amid reports cops were investigating allegations that someone smashed her car window and left a threatening note.

Despite her apparent financial troubles, TMZ has also obtained a check signed by Suleman for the amount of $520 for a Brazilian blowout haircut.
