Police Ask For Public's Help In Search For 101-Year-Old Man

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Los Angeles police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 101-year-old man.

Authorities say Lazaro Alfonso Gamez has not been seen or heard from since the morning of April 18.

According to police, Gamez' care giver went to his home in the 4300 block of Willowbrook Avenue about 6:30 p.m. last Wednesday to check on him but no one responded at the door.

Gamez, who suffers from Dementia and poor mental condition, lives alone, according to authorities.

He is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 110 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
