2 Armed Suspects In Standoff With SWAT In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH (CBS) — Two armed men are reportedly in a standoff with SWAT officers in Manhattan Beach.

Officials say the two men tried to rob a Pier 1 Imports on Rosecrans Avenue at closing time.

When police arrived, the two men refused to leave the premises.

Police say there are no reports of injuries and the men do not appear to have hostages.

(UPDATE Sunday 10:22 p.m.) Police say the two suspects gave themselves up at 10:22 p.m. without further incident.
