Peter Facinelli, Jennie Garth File For Divorce After 11-Year Marriage

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Actors Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth each filed for divorce Wednesday after 11 years of marriage.

The pair separated Jan. 1 and announced they were divorcing two weeks ago. Their petitions were both filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

In Facinelli's filing, he asks for joint custody of their three daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5.

Facinelli, 38, played Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight" movies.

Garth, 39, played Kelly Taylor in the television series "Beverly Hills, 90210" and was part of the cast of "Growing Pains." She was also a contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" in 2007.

The two married in January 2001.
