Amber Alert Over For Boy, 5, Abducted From San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO (CBS) — An Amber Alert ended Friday with a suspect in custody.

The alert was issued for a 5-year-old boy who was abducted Thursday morning in Riverside County.

Domenic Smith was allegedly abducted by his father Anthony Stanley Smith-Dixon at 10:37 a.m. from a child care facility in San Jacinto, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The boy was described as black, 4 feet tall, 45 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Prior to the alert, he was last seen wearing a brown T-shirt and blue sweatpants with a white stripe on the sides.

Smith-Dixon, a 24-year-old black male, was said to be driving an early-2000s model gold Saturn four-door sedan with an unknown license plate number.

The vehicle was believed to be missing the driver's side door panel due to a recent traffic collision.

The suspect was confirmed in custody shortly before 3 p.m.
