Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Mar. 20)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Tuesday marks the first full day of spring, the Vernal Equinox was last night at 10:15 p.m.

It will be a nice first day with temperatures bumping up about eight to 10 degrees from yesterday. Tuesday will however be a little chilly in the morning with some cold air still in place and radiational cooling.

Look for mostly sunny skies and near average temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Conditions will cool off again as we head into the end of the week and the weekend. Right now it looks like another trough and low pressure center will move overhead on Sunday, but it doesn't look all that impressive. Maybe just a narrow band of showers pushing through. Snow levels could drop down as the center of the low moves overhead. This system is still several days away, so a lot can change.

Beaches - mid 60s
Basin - upper 60s to low 70s
Valleys - low 70s
Deserts -mid 60s
Mountains -upper 40s
