Walmart To Sell New iPad At Midnight, 8 Hours Before Apple Stores Open
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Already in line at your nearest Apple Store? Save eight hours of waiting time by heading over to Walmart, where the new iPad will go on sale at midnight.
The discount retailer will reportedly have limited quantities of the new iPad for sale, only at its 24-hour locations, starting at 12:01 a.m. Friday, according to CNET.com. Walmart stores that close before midnight will not stay open for the sale.
The 16GB Wi-Fi version of the new iPad will be available for purchase in black and white at Walmart, which also plans to sell the 16GB iPad 2 at $399 for the Wi-Fi version.
