2 Men Fatally Shot In Rosewood Identified By Authorities

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  Authorities Thursday identified two men who were shot and killed in the unincorporated Rosewood area of Los Angeles County.

Detectives were sent to the 300 block of East 159th Street, between Main Street and Avalon Boulevard, at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, Deputy Lillian Peck of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.

The dead men were identified as Ricardo Guzman, 19, and Salvador Guzman, 39, both of Gardena, coroner's assistant Chief Ed Winter said.

Officials said the victims were an uncle and nephew.

Sheriff's homicide detectives said they had learned the two men were standing in the front yard of the location when a car with two occupants drove by and the passenger fired multiple shots with a handgun.
