Disneyland To Open 24 Hours For Leap Year Celebration

ANAHEIM (CBS) — The happiest place on Earth is so happy 2012 is a leap year, Disneyland is making it a 24-hour celebration.

For the first time ever, the Magic Kingdom will be open Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday.

The park is planning several special events for its 24-hour party. Before the park opens, the first 2,000 people in line for the leap year party will get limited edition mouse ears.

Park goers can start lining up at 10 p.m. Tuesday night, a full eight hours before the gates open.
