4 Elementary School Students Caught Eating Pot On Campus

HESPERIA (CBS) — Four elementary school students were caught enjoying marijuana munchies on a Hesperia school campus last week, officials said.

The Lime Street Elementary School fourth-graders were caught eating the drug Feb. 9 by fellow students who alerted administrators, the Victorville Daily Press reported.

School officials say the marijuana laced treats came from family members of two of the students. They believe the students likely found the marijuana and it was not given to them, the Press said.

School staff contacted police and parents following the incident to deal with the students.
