50-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck While Crossing Victorville Street
VICTORVILLE (CBS) — Authorities Saturday said a 50-year-old woman was fatally struck while trying to cross a street in Victorville.
The fatal collision occurred about 6:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of D Street and Sixth Street.
The victim, identified by authorities as Donna Clark, was struck by a 28-year-old male driver while attempting to cross the street.
Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's office said Clark was not in the crosswalk at the time.
It's not clear at this time whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Clark was taken to an area hospital where she died.
No other information was immediately available.
