At Least 1 Wounded In South Los Angeles Shooting

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities Saturday were investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that left at least one person wounded in South Los Angeles.

The incident occurred about 9:39 a.m. Saturday at 86th Place and Main Street near the Harbor (110) Freeway and Manchester Avenue, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

According to authorities, at least one person was taken to an area hospital by paramedics.

Their condition was not immediately known.

A watch commander for LAPD's 77th Street Station could not immediately be reached for comment.
