Naked Man Arrested For Involvement In Mother, Daughter Murder In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBS) —  Officials say a mother and her daughter were killed following an argument in Torrance Sunday evening.

A man was also wounded. His condition is unknown. The wounded man was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Authorities were responding to a call at the Torrance Park Villas about a man with a knife. The victims are believed to have been stabbed.

Officials have a suspect in custody. The suspect was naked at the time of his arrest.

His relationship to the women is not known.

The suspect had barricaded himself inside the residence located in the 21800 block of Vermont Street.

He was taken into custody about 10 p.m.

A neighbor told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Rachel Kim that the residents in the apartment were seen arguing hours before the murders and "the last few days."

Reportedly living inside the residence were a man, his wife, their daughter, her boyfriend and a man who was renting a room.
