Tourist Files Battery Report, Says Andy Dick Assaulted Him In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating reports that comedian Andy Dick assaulted a tourist in Hollywood, according to TMZ.

The alleged victim filed a battery report with the LAPD, claiming 46-year-old Dick attacked him when he tried to snap a photo of the former "Celebrity Rehab" star on Hollywood Boulevard.

The man claims Dick, who was apparently intoxicated, grabbed him by the collar and tried to take the camera from him, TMZ reported.

The alleged incident may have been captured on tape.

Dick was arrested at a Temecula bar last year for disorderly conduct involving drugs and alcohol. In 2010, he was charged with sexual abuse for allegedly groping a bouncer at a West Virginia bar.
