LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The 23-year-old grandson of screen legend Clark Gable was sentenced to 11 days in jail, with credit for one day already served, for pointing a green laser at a LAPD helicopter last July.

Clark James Gable pleaded guilty to a felony count of discharge of a laser at an occupied aircraft last July.

Gable flashed a laser three times at the helicopter flying 800 feet over Hollywood while riding as a passenger in a car and claimed it was an accident.

Gable was also placed on three years of formal probation.
