Trojans Finish Season #6 In Country

(CBS) -- For the first time since finishing third in 2008, the USC Trojans have ended the college football season ranked in the AP top 10,  ranked sixth in the nation.

USC was  ineligible for the postseason and Coaches' polls.

The Trojans season concluded with an easy win over the PAC-12 South champion, UCLA Bruins.

Alabama finished first, with LSU and Oklahoma State also receiving votes for the number one ranking.

Three teams from the Pac-12 finished ranked in the top seven spots in the final poll. (Oregon #4, USC #6, Stanford #7)
