Police On the Hunt For Man Flashing Outside Riverside Middle Schools

RIVERSIDE (CBS) — Authorities say a flasher has been exposing himself to children outside several schools in Riverside, and police Thursday asked the public for clues.

The same unidentified suspect is believed responsible for acts of indecent exposure around Central, Chernawa and Sierra middle schools, said city police Detective Roberta Hopewell.

In most cases, the man waits for students to pass his vehicle, and then exhibits his genitals, Hopewell said.

The suspect is described as white or light-skinned Hispanic, about 20 to 30 years old, with tattoos on each arm, wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt. His vehicle is a silver four-door sedan with a rear spoiler, according to Hopewell.

She asked anyone with information to call her at (951) 353-7124.
