Sportie LA on Melrose Avenue specializes in hard-to-find styles and colors. Although known for their exclusives on sneakers, the shoe haven is a hot spot for rain boots including Tretorn Skerry Vnter, snarky mid-calf rubber boots with a creme-colored faux fur lining in Rouge and the classic Tretorn Skerry Reslig, tall glossy rubber boots perfect for keeping toes toasty in the rain or snow.

Hollywood trend-setter Madonna and a slew of supermodels have flocked to Fluevog Shoes in Silver Lake for John Fluevog's creations. From runway couture styles to traditional knee-high, soft leather, Fluevog should definitely be on your "eye and covet" list. New arrivals for the season include the Frontier Hi Hudson, a knee-high, laced boot handmade in one of Mexico's best cowboy boot factories and the Stop It Halt booty, an ankle boot with fabric buttons woven from multicolored, mismatched, zigzagged waxed cotton.

Eilatan in the Beverly Center is known for their exclusive assortment of high-end, boutique designers. With the motto "It is for shoe lovers only," Eilatan's selection of Jeffrey Campbell, Miss Sixty, Sam Edelman and Seychelles will make your eyes pop and have you digging for your credit card.

From the street, Christian Louboutin's outward appearance is subtle, but upon entering you will ooh and ahh several times throughout your tour. Making your way through the boutique will satiate your shoe cravings, and if you are lucky, try on your boots of choice in the enclave on the second floor – the experience will make any shoe-a-holic splurge next month's rent on the darling leopard print Daf Boots. Other seasonal favorites include the Gloria Booty, the Miss Tack Booty, the Miss Tack Botta, and the Harletty.

Boots with an attitude can be found at Lush Shoes in Studio City. The upscale, trendy boutique is frequented by celeb divas and features designers Jeffrey Campbell, Dolce Vita, Sam Edelman and All Black. The swanky Alex Black suede platform boot in black with python trim is for the die-hard, boot-obsessed.

Madison at Fred Segal Santa Monica has chic boot trends for the fashionista who's not afraid to spend a pretty penny. Boot selections range from Chloe and PS Kaufman fall and winter collections to the funkier Dr. Martens.
