Los Angeles County prosecutors say Louise Vance-Wasilchin entered pleas Friday to misappropriating public funds and secreting a public record.

The 58-year-old Upland woman could face more than 2½ years in prison when she's sentenced in February.

Police say their civilian employee stole money that came from parking meters, parking fines and impound fees. Police began investigating in April after they noticed a bag full of quarters in her car during an accident probe.

Prosecutors say she also hid a police report on a hit-and-run and driving-under-the-influence case involving her son-in-law.
