Preliminary Report Reveals Occupy LA Cleanup Cost At Least $2.3M
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A preliminary report reveals that estimates costs incurred during the nearly two-month Occupy LA movement stands at $2.3 million.

The report, which was dated Friday, was released by City Budget Chief Miguel Santana.
The cost includes $1.6 million in overtime pay for police, the Department of General Services and the Office of Public Safety, the Associated Press reported.
Restoring the park outside City Hall could cost $400,000.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has called for budget cuts to offset the protest costs.
