Bynum Expected To Be Back On Court New Year's Eve

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Andrew Bynum's suspension has reportedly been reduced.

The Lakers star was banned from five games after a foul against Dallas Mavericks player J.J. Barea during last season's NBA playoffs.

That suspension begins Sunday during the season opener against the Chicago Bulls, but it has been reduced to four games because of the shortened season.

Bynum is expected to be back on the court New Year 's Eve.
