Man Pleads No Contest To 2 Counts Of Sexual Battery Of Koreatown Neighbor

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  A Los Angeles man pleaded no contest to sexually battering a female neighbor in her Koreatown apartment and will be sentenced next month, the City Attorney's Office said Thursday.

Bayarsaikhan Bazarragchaa will be sentenced by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Verastegui to a possible four month jail sentence and/or Caltrans work and mandatory registration as a sex offender.

He will likely also get 48 months probation, along with psychological counseling, officials said.

Bazarragchaa also is expected to be ordered to stay away from the woman and to abstain from alcohol use while on probation, according to the City Attorney's Office.

Bazarragchaa pleaded no contest Wednesday to two counts of sexual battery and one count of unauthorized entry of a property while the resident was present.

Authorities said Bazarragchaa entered the unlocked apartment in the 500 block of Berendo Street in April and touched and licked his neighbor's breast and kissed her while she slept, according to the City Attorney.

The woman -- whose husband was asleep on the couch -- woke up after he tried to remove her pants, officials said.
