Caltrans Warns Commuters About Overnight Freeway Closures

Westbound traffic was diverted at San Gabriel Boulevard and allowed to return to the freeway at Markland Drive while eastbound traffic from Wilcox Avenue to San Gabriel Boulevard was restricted to one lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The freeway was scheduled to fully reopen in both directions at 5 a.m. -- a sequence that will be repeated again Wednesday, or until the westbound side of the bridge is down.
