Kings Bounce Back, Beat Maple Leafs 3-2
TORONTO (CBS) -- The Los Angeles Kings bounced back from an embarrassing 8-2 loss in Detroit with a 3-2 shooutout victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night.
Dustin Brown scored the only goal in the shootout for the game-winner.
Justin Williams and Brown both scored in regulation for the teams first two goals.
The victory sends out interim head coach John Stevens with a record of 2-2.
Darryl Sutter, who has signed a multi-year contract with Los Angeles, is still working on immigration issues is expected to coach his first game at the Freeway Faceoff on Thursday.
