Jonathan Broxton Bolts For Kansas City

(CBS) -- Former Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton has reportedly signed a $4 million deal with the Kansas City Royals to become the teams set-up man for closer Joakim Soria.

Broxton must pass a physical, which surprisingly is not expected to be a hurdle, since the hard-throwing right-hander pitched in just 14 games with the Dodgers in 2010 because of a sore elbow.

Broxton pitched seven seasons in Los Angeles, highlighted by his 2009, 36 save season.
