Murder Suspect Killed During SWAT Standoff In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A murder suspect was shot and killed Wednesday night during a SWAT standoff in South Los Angeles.
The man fled when detectives traced him to a home in the 800 block of East 105th Street.
He led authorities on a brief pursuit before abandoning his vehicle. Officers were then able to corner him inside a home, where gunfire was exchanged.
The suspect was shot and killed, and one SWAT officer suffered a gunshot wound to his foot.
No other details were immediately released.
