Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 18)

STUDIO CITY (CBS)  — Look for cooler weather as we welcome the weekend.

The sun will break through from time to time Friday, but it will be breezy and cool. Daytime highs will be running well below average.

The first wave of energy moves through late tonight and into early tomorrow morning. The storm is passing as an inside slider, so it will be mostly dry.

There could be a shower here or there and there is the possibility of a low dusting of snow, but that's about it for wave 1.

On Sunday the next storm system rolls in, but it looks like it will take a similar track to last weekend's system. Look for the heaviest rain to remain off-shore.

If the storm moves even 50 miles to the east, we could end up getting a good soaker.

We'll warm up a little bit for Tuesday next week.

Coastal -low 60s
Basin - low to mid 60s
Valleys - upper 60s
Mountains - low 50s
Deserts - mid 60s
