Text Messages Vindicate Justin Bieber In Baby Scandal
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — TMZ is revealing text messages from the woman who accused pop star Justin Bieber of fathering her baby.
In the messages, 20-year-old Mariah Yeater asks a friend to erase all messages from her own mother, in which a young man other than Bieber is referred to as the child's father.
"Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son."
She goes on to talk about giving the man money if he cooperates.
"Ill kick u when we get paid im trusting you pleeease," she writes.
"This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story," Bieber's attorney Howard Weitzman told TMZ. "Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."
"There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be," he adds.
Yeater has since dropped her paternity suit.
